WHAT IS THE PARSONS SCHOLARS PROGRAM?

Parsons Scholars Program is a 2.5 year college preparation and access program that centers young artists of color who are financially NYS Opportunity Program eligible.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM INCLUDE?

We do not collect, retain, or share information regarding immigration status

This is a college prep program and not a college scholarship *

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF PARSONS SCHOLARS?

Full and on-time attendance to programming during the school year (Saturdays, 9am-5pm) and a portion of the summer.
Active participation in ALL classes, workshops, field trips and events
Timely completion of all in and out of class assignments
Monthly meetings with advisor

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

current 10th graders from NYC public schools
Students who demonstrate financial need
Students with a strong interest and commitment to art & design studies
Students in need of art & design opportunities and guidance through the college application process
Students who are from any immigration status, including undocumented students

Based on the income guidelines established by the NY State Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP), students are eligible if your household income is not greater than the amount listed below.
